Interim Openings are travel positions, located nationwide and may not be local or commutable daily. Approved Lodging and Travel arrangements for each interim assignment are available. Duties:

  • Interim assignment
  • Assist the client with completion of MDS 3.0 process
  • Assist the client with assessing and implementing systems and processes as requested
  • Maintain current working knowledge of applicable state and federal standards, regulations and industry standards of practice and professional practice guidelines
  • Assist clients as requested with training and mentoring
  • Maintain client confidentiality and function within HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

  • Licensed registered nurse (compact license preferred)
  • Proficient in MDS 3.0
  • AANAC/RAC-CT Certification
  • Position requires 80% travel

  • Coordinates, conducts and completes the MDS, resident care plans and conferences on the computerized system
  • Assures accuracy and completeness of entire medical record
  • Assures and monitors that MDSs are completed within HCFCA and Medicare guidelines
  • Ensures MDS electronic submission occurs per State regulations
  • Participates in family/resident care plan conferences
  • Assures effective communication with other shifts and departments as it relates to medical record documentation

  • Implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the care and functions of the nursing department at our 30-bed critical access hospital.
