Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare resident for site wide services, record payments and follow-up as needed.
  • Verify insurance, generate/review/submit/mail Medicare, Insurance, Therapy claims and private pay statements for Medicare Part A and Part B services provided in the facility.
  • Post payments to residents' accounts.
  • Submit monthly clinic billing and track receivables by individual.
  • Serve as billing liaison with outpatient rehab provider.
  • Identify and submit billing for secondary claims that do not automatically cross-over.
  • update and maintain daily site census.
  • Enter information for new residents into Healthcare system.
  • Collections/follow-up/responding to all billing inquiries.
  • Administrative duties necessary related to all essential duties and responsibilities.


  • Two year degree in accounting and/or equivalent experience
